Besides the amazing styling, the collection was still fabulous. Nicolas played with, and mastered, proportions with loads of choices for outerwear and fur. There was an outerspacey feel to the collection demonstarted in the coats with the metalic sheems, wing like backs, paddings, and new-age silhouettes. The shift like dresses are enough to make me want to shell out thousands of dollars for one. The way the bright colors are mixed with the black stipes and the short hemline works perfectly with the crewneck and long sleeves bringing the look into winter with the right fur vest, black tights and boots. Its such a modern statement piece but in no way is it over the top. I literally can't stop raving about it.
The only thing about the collection I didn't want were the pants and the baggy peplum tops. I mean they were incredibly unflattering silky old lady pants in bright prints, some of which were made to look like underwear was being worn over the pants.
Another dress which was crazy beautiful was had transparent nude colored slevees and high neckline for cold days when you don't want to look like your wearing your entire wardrobe to keep from getting frostbite. The dress comes with a black and white floral outline print with a few nude colored spaces set in. There were some preppy sweaters in storng hues with high necklines and embroidery which would be killer with a pair of leather pants and heels. The collection was so genius I actually teared up. I kind of am one of those crazy fashion ladies from another planet (me)
