I adore tutus in bright colors like these.
American Apparel has a few great ones, so does Betsey Johnson.

Courtney Cox for Instyle August 2010

It might be the friends-geek inside of me but I love everything Courtney Cox does. Cougar Town is hiarious, her ex-husband is stupid for loosing her, and her style is quintessential relaxed California sophistication. Plus, she is over 40 and she better than anyone I can think of at that age in Hollywood. Although, I wish they has choosen a better shot of her for the cover. Scans from Instyle August 2010.
I should really be studying for APUSH right now.

Miu Miu Eye wear:

Until a few days ago I had no idea Miu Miu did sunglasses! Its a bit late to be shopping for sunglasses this season, but the S/S'11 glasses are out as well and very worthy of the $200 they charge per pair. They can easily hit the beach or the street on a sunny day. Or if your an Olsen, even when it's raining.
I love sunglasses but I only have a few pairs, mosty from Forever 21 or street vendors because I tend to loose or break them a lot. I have one pair of classic Ray-Ban aviators but besides that they're all slightly cheap looking junky ones. I still have my faux-Dolce&Gabbana nicole richie sized movie star sunglasses from fifth grade, and a pair of Lady GaGa type frames with a gold chain hanging down the front (lots of weird looks when I wore them to the beach a few times this summer) and a clear of clear glass ones even though I don't actually wear glasses.
My favorite Miu Miu glasses are actually from last season (S/S '10); I am still obsessed with their swallow and flower prints and its seems like I am stealing them for less than $500! I am rediculously obsessed with this pair, I don't care what people think I would wear them all year round. Im loving the little cat-eye shape thats going on. Its just noticeable enough to be cool but not overdone or too trendy.

Harper's Bazaar November 2010 starring Georgia May Jagger:

She is really moving up my list of favorite models right now (Abbey Lee, Freja, alex, Constance, Jac...) So obsessed with this shoot. I haven't gotten my November issue yet, but I had better get it soon to further obsesses over this shoot. She could really be the next Lara Stone - and shes got the gap tooth a curves to prove it. I'm not sure where this was shot but I really want to go there...
I'm really looking forward to my Vogue Paris 90 ans to get here soon! (lara stone cover)

YSL Edition 24 video

I love that even one of the most iconic, classic fashion brands had jumped on the bandwagon for producing media advertising. And of course, it looks amazing.

Another Magazine A/W 2010

Model: Melissa Tammerijn photographed by Pierre Debusschere.
I really like this particular shoot because of how its much less 'done' than a magazine like Vogue would do it. Its not over-styled, which I admit I tend to normally go for, but something about this particular editorial jumped out at me. I didn't include the blurred photos because it is really beyond me why a fashion magazine blurs the photos so you can't see the details of the piece which is one of the main points of a FASHION magazine. Plus there is a shot of one of my favorite Balenciaga dresses from all of the A/W collections. I was pretty excited when Hanelli said it was hers as well during the Vogue Fashion's Night Out fashion show.

The wooden heels are so sick but my number one fall choice are still the Balenciaga loafers... with the gorgeous Miu Miu frock in purple as you will never catch me in yellow*.

*unless its a super amazing Philip Lim coat... (but I prefer the camel Celine ones this season)

New W cover:

What do you like to see when you get home? Whatever it is, I'm sure not the newest W magazine that I came home to. No one (and I mean no one) wants to see some naked picture of Kim Kardashian on the cover of the treasured 'art' issue. Especially when there silver paint and the latest reality TV star. Kind of disappointed. But all that is made up for thanks to a lovely Anna Dello Russo spread I die for. Apparently classy does make up for tacky.

Of course, I should probably finish up on September issues before starting the November ones... I haven't posted in a while mainly because I've been drowning in my art history paper on andy Warhol, studying for apush, phychology, other essays, and reviewing the S/S'11 collections, so my bad.
