Charming. Stella McCartney, always one to surprise. To celebrate/gain momentum for her resort line she threw a garden party. There is something about her classic british florals on top models playing ping pong and drinking tea whilst sitting at a picnic table that really captured me. Resort is by nature a time to have fun so there is really no better time for a designer to do something unexpected with the presentation rather than a normal showroom walk through or small scale runway. Now that I know a few people working at Stella McCartney, I have some idea of what Stella herself is like. If that idea is anything close to reality, this won't the last party.
