Kate Bosworth out in L.A. with a new kool-aid dye job.
With all the frenzy regarding the other two Kate's and their respective weddings, this Kate seems to have been cast off recently. But let us not forget what a style inspiration she is.
One to shy away from press, but a permanent party circut fixture, Kate has always be a style plate for straight-off-the-runway-with-a-twist looks. In my mind, a perfect stateside representation for the Isabel Marant brand.
I was sadly not surprised to see that all of the websites I was directed too when looking for photos of Kate B's new style had panned the look. The other day, inspired by GaGa's May issue of Harper's Bazaar, I slathered the manic panic (purple-which comes out a sort of lavender/grey.) Not that I was expecting much in the way of compliments from the preppies (whom I do sometimes love) at school, but the amount of senior-citizen jokes was ridiculous. I liked how it looked, it made dressing in jeans and a tee shirt more appealing for one, but I doubt I'll be trying it in a private southern high school again.
As with most manic panics, it was out with one wash. And, sadly I don't have any photo-proofs.
