Waiting for the bus after work on Thursdays is like watching one of Andy Warhol's old movies. There are so many people- artists, artists' friends, and wanna be artists from all over the city, come together once a week to tour the galleries. The stoop associated with waiting for the M23 crosstown becomes somehow a phenomenal spot for taking it all in.

Most Thursday nights leave me preoccupied and unable to actually go 'gallery hopping.' (Plus most wannabe artists are a tad snobby and don't want to associate with the 17-year old girl.) Though one Thursday this summer I managed to walk a few square blocks around my office and found not only crowds of interesting people and lots of free food; but also the Kate Moss Portfolio exhibit I had been meaning to go to all summer!
