As an impatient child, I used to hate going with my Mom into the Stubbs & Wootton shop in Southampton. She used to drag me in there and make me watch her try on endless pairs of slippers when all I wanted to do was go to the Candy Store. In fact she still does that up to this day when we're in the Hamptons. Although onetime during their annual sale, when I was aroung 10 or 11, they gave me like six pairs of shoes (size five, they needed to go) for free. Even as child of the Upper East Side, I love free stuff- so S&W and I have some good memories together after all.
The iconic outdoor slipper makers, Stubbs & Wootton has partnered up with Marc Jacobs. The line consists only on mens slippers and features Marc's usual 'Stinky Rat' logo. $495 a pair, these are only available in Marc Jacobs stores and online.
