Who wore it better: polk-a-doted dress

Both Carrie Underwood and Whitney Port wore this Spring 2009 Pamella Roland dress. Whitney looks much more sophisticated in the dress with the simple but sexy heels and natural makeup whereas Carrie looks a bit showgirl-ish. When a dress has so much personality already (especially sequins AND polk-a-dots) you want it to be the main focus and have everything else revolve around the dress. Carrie's poofed up hair and big showy accessiories make the whole look too much. Although the dress is draped beautifully on both girls. I love how it shows a lot of skin but is still understatedly sexy and not in your face about it.
