with carine out, who is in?

With the recent heart breaking news that Carine will be leaving French Vogue in the coming week, many questions have been circulating around. Carine as been at the magazine for the last ten years, before that she worked at Tom Ford. She is truly an icon and of course, can never be replaced. While I don't believe she was fired, rumors are everywhere about her possible outing. It's true that she causes some problems every now and then - getting herself and the magazine blacklisted at Balenciage; having LVMH threaten to pull their ads from the magazine... But she is Carine Roitfeld. She is a goddess, she can do whatever she wants.
While she hasn't been made many public statements on what she plans on doing after Vogue, I'm sure she'll stay a part of the fashion industry and continue to inspire and terrify all those under her. She is, after all, the one who backlashed against personal style blogs by wearing the same Prada coat to all of the shows.
Sure no one could truly replace her, but there has got to be someone to take over the reigns as editor-in-chief. Most likely to do so would have to be Emmanuelle Alt who has been with the magazine for ten years as well. She currently serves as fashion director and although she isn't on Carine's level yet, she admittedly is one of the few who could over time.
